Job summary

Meds.com, the driving force behind BlueChew’s manufacturing and lab operations, seeks an Automation Technician to safeguard our facility, maintain critical equipment, and optimize supply chain flows in Deerfield Beach, FL.

You will manage preventive maintenance for HVAC and lab gear, coordinate vendor work, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting high-volume shipping and receiving to sustain uninterrupted pharmaceutical operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in facilities coordination, maintenance management, or operations logistics.
• Experience in a pharmacy, medical lab, or food manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facility & Equipment Maintenance: Schedule and oversee routine maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and specialized lab equipment.
• Vendor Management: Point of contact for external contractors and technicians; ensure safety and minimal disruption to operations.
• Emergency Response: Act as first responder for facility issues to minimize downtime.
• Supply Chain & Inventory Control: Monitor levels of non-medical supplies and place orders to prevent stock-outs.
• Asset Tracking: Maintain records of laboratory assets and ensure calibration/servicing per regulations.
• Cost Optimization: Review costs and contracts to improve efficiency.
• Shipping, Receiving & Logistics: Manage inbound shipments and coordinate high-volume outbound shipping.
