Job summary

Technical Source is seeking a pharma automation engineer with Rockwell experience to act as the primary support resource in a GMP environment. You will work under SOPs and change control while coordinating with production teams to resolve issues swiftly.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on automation in pharma, experience with formulation/filling/packaging lines, and strong communication skills to interact with operators, maintenance, and site leadership.

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on automation experience in pharma or related life sciences with GMP.
Experience supporting sterile/regulated production lines (not just lab/utilities).
Strong troubleshooting with Rockwell PLCs and FactoryTalk-based systems.
Familiarity with SOPs, change control, deviation, and validation frameworks.
Willingness to support off-shift as needed.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary automation support resource in a GMP environment.
Support formulation, filling, packaging or other sterile production lines.
Troubleshoot and maintain Rockwell/FactoryTalk systems in live production.
Adhere to SOPs, change control, deviation, and validation processes.
Communicate clearly with operators, maintenance, and site leadership; document handoffs.
