Automation Engineer

Overview

Seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to support and maintain control systems for Fill/Finish and Formulation processes in a regulated pharma environment. The role focuses on Rockwell PLCs, HMIs, and GMP-compliant automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Rockwell and FactoryTalk/View HMIs.
• Support production and utilities automation for filling, capping, and formulation equipment.
• Lead or assist in system upgrades, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations.
• Develop and maintain FDS/SDS documentation and execute IQ/OQ/PQ validation.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, QA, Validation) to resolve automation issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical, Automation, or related engineering discipline.
• Automation experience in the pharma or biotech industry.
• Strong experience with Rockwell Automation (ControlLogix, FactoryTalk, PanelView).
• Hands‑on experience with Fill/Finish and Formulation systems.
• Working knowledge of GMP, GAMP 5, and automation validation.
