Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies is seeking an Automation Engineer to join the Process Automation team in North Carolina. The role focuses on implementing, troubleshooting, and repairing DeltaV and ABB DCS systems to support Upstream and Downstream manufacturing operations.

You will review requirements, support validation efforts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust automation solutions while participating in on-call rotations and quality activities.

Qualifications

B.Sc. degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
1–2+ years of engineering experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

Automation Engineer focusing on implementation, troubleshooting and repair of DeltaV and ABB DCS systems.
Review and revise User, Functional, and Process Requirement Specifications for Automation Systems.
Troubleshoot DeltaV and ABB code and functionality for Validation and Production systems.
Participate in On-Call rotation supporting 24/7 Manufacturing Operations.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Instruments and Controls, Process Engineering, and CQV to develop automation solutions.
Participate in quality activities like Design Qualification and test activities.
