Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies in Holly Springs, NC seeks an Automation Engineer 2, MES to support the DSM facility. You will drive automation changes, design and test MES solutions, and lead small project teams in DeltaV/Syncade environments.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Maintenance and Validation, develop URS/FS, IQ/OQ, and provide on-call support while advancing global platform concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or other relevant field.
• 2 years of Automation, Instrumentation & Controls, or related technical experience.
• 3+ years of DeltaV MES (Syncade) experience preferred (including URS/FS/DQ, ET/EM config).
• Pharmaceutical or GMP environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation team activities and code/configuration in DeltaV across process areas.
• Develop URS, FS, DQ and related documentation for automation projects.
• Create and execute IQ/OQ/test protocols and validation documents.
• Plan technical direction for area of responsibility and drive automation changes.
• Lead small teams through automation changes and tech transfers.
• Provide on-call support for automation inquiries and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Maintenance and Validation teams.
• Train and present information to team and stakeholders.
