On-call support and cross‑disciplinary collaboration are core to the role. Requirements include a BE/BTech in engineering and 8 years of Automation/Instrumentation experience; a Master’s with 6+ years is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering required.
• 8 years of Automation, Instrumentation & Controls experience.
• Master’s degree with 6+ years of Automation experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Automation team through code configuration across process areas.
• Develop user requirements and functional specification documents (URS/FS).
• Lead development of IQ/OQ/test protocols and qualification documents.
• Set technical direction for a sub-area of responsibility.
• Lead small teams through Automation changes and tech transfers.
• Make complex decisions across Automation systems.
• Contribute to Automation hardware and software designs.
• Provide on-call support for Automation inquiries and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Maintenance and Validation.
• Conduct training and present information to team and stakeholders.
