Job summary

Ideal candidates bring 3–7+ years in pharma/biotech automation, strong RSLogix/Allen-Bradley expertise, and extensive knowledge of FactoryTalk and Wonderware tooling.

Qualifications

• Must have 3-7+ years designing, programming and testing control and automation systems in pharma/biotech environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify, maintain and troubleshoot PLCs and PC components and programs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on controls and devices.
• Identify and maintain robotics system components.
• Identify, maintain, and troubleshoot HMI components.
• Identify, maintain and assist with troubleshooting control network components.
• Troubleshoot motor controls including VFDs and DC drives.
• Replace components and reconfigure programs to maintain validated state.
• Locate, review and modify ladder logic across platforms.
• Perform routine and non-routine program backups and create libraries.
• Access all facility levels to support controls systems.
• Apply analytical skills to troubleshoot equipment or system issues.
• Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Train technicians on controls systems.
• Support Capital Appropriations Requests with documentation.
• Ensure cgmp regulatory compliance and engineering documentation standards.
