Job summary

Jobtailor in Indianapolis, IN seeks an Automation Engineer to provide automation support across site and capital projects, lead integration from analytical systems into DeltaV and Rockwell, and set up recipes for DeltaV and Rockwell-controlled systems.

You will mentor engineer-level staff, support project teams during deployment and initial configuration of PLC-based equipment, and help drive successful commissioning in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum B.S. in Engineering or relevant scientific discipline.
• 3+ years in Automation Engineering, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience deploying PLC/SCADA-based control systems (Rockwell, DeltaV, or equivalent).
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide automation support across site and capital projects.
• Lead integration from analytical systems into DeltaV/Rockwell and setup/maintenance of recipes.
• Mentor Engineer-level staff supporting PLC systems.
• Support project teams and system integrators during deployment and initial configuration of PLC-based equipment.
