Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain terrain park signage, closures, trail markings, fencing and banner guarding.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and repair of terrain features including run-in, take-off, landings and run-out areas, non-snow terrain features such as rail slides, on the hill snowboard benches, etc.
  • Provide monitoring of terrain features both visually and physically testing.
  • Responsible for attainment of company guest relations and safety goals within the department.
  • Assist with freestyle special events as required.
  • Daily trash and debris pick up and removal.
  • Other duties as assigned within the Mountain Operations area

Job DetailsJob Location: Powderhorn - Mesa, CO 81643

Salary Range: $18.00 - $18.50 Hourly

Position Summary

To maintain, repair, monitor, and test the features in the terrain parks and other locations where applicable. To acts as host in the terrain parks for crowd control, education, safety awareness and guest relations.

Primary Responsibilities/Duties

Work Environment

This position is based outside, and is exposed to temperature extremes (above 85 degrees and below 20 degrees), sun and wind, inclement weather (rain, snow, ice) and high altitudes (8200 + feet). Must be able to walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend stairs, stand and/or sit for long periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift a minimum of 60 pounds
