The University of Georgia is seeking a Plant Growth Facilities student worker for various plant maintenance duties, including watering, fertilizing, pruning, and greenhouse cleaning. This is a part-time position requiring enthusiasm and a keen interest in plants.
Responsibilities include routine maintenance of research plants, grounds maintenance, event preparations, and storage facility organization. Ideal candidates should demonstrate strong independent work skills and effective communication.
Plant Growth Facilities student worker needed ASAP for weekday and weekend plant maintenance duties and other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Help with weekend watering duties in rotation with others.
Enthusiasm and interest in plants; prior greenhouse and growth chamber training and education preferred.
Lift up to 25 pounds. Driving.
