Position will provide greenhouse assistance to include potting, inoculating and watering plants. The individual will keep greenhouse space neat, orderly, and weed‑free. The individual will assist with basic lab research as requested, including collecting plant samples, inoculating plant samples, setting up field studies, labeling and placing flags, stakes and markers. The individual will assist with basic lab protocols, basic lab maintenance and chores such as washing glassware, preparing simple solutions, preparing media, autoclaving supplies and waste, and disposing of trash to maintain a clean laboratory space.
High school diploma.
Standing, lifting, enduring outside elements for extended periods of time.
Driving is a requirement of the position. The position has security access and does not involve direct interaction with children under 18 or direct patient care. The position does not involve operation, access, or control of financial resources and does not require a P‑Card.
