Job summary

Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, GA, invites motivated students to join its PGA Golf Management Internship for 2026. This hands-on program provides exposure to golf operations, merchandise, events, and internal communications.

You will support the Outside Operation Manager, assist with merchandise intake, help prepare for special events, coordinate WGA Play Days, and rotate through locker room, Food & Beverage, and maintenance shifts.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college with a concentration in PGA Golf Management is preferred.
• Previous customer service or other professional work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Outside Operation Manager three to five days each week.
• Help the receiving department with the intake of new merchandise.
• Assist the Tournament Director in preparing for special events.
• Aid in the organization of the 9 & 18-hole WGA Play Days.
• Assist our Locker Room staff for two hours each week.
• Complete one modified shift per month with the Food & Beverage operation.
• Participate in one modified shift with the Golf Course Maintenance Department during your internship.

PGA Golf Management Intern
Overview:
The PGA Golf Management Internship is an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand experience in Golf operations and club management. The role will involve performing a variety of administrative tasks while experiencing the Club’s approach to merchandise, Golf operations, member events, and internal communications.

• Be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations.
• Strong organization, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Able to build and maintain positive working relationships with members, team members, and vendors.
