Job summary

Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, GA seeks a part-time Merchandise Receiving Specialist to join our Golf Pro Shop team. You will receive, inspect, and process incoming merchandise, prepare items for display, and help manage inventory while delivering exceptional member service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of golf merchandise, equipment, and apparel to ensure accurate receiving, inventory management, and product organization.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and reach for up to 4-6 hours.

Responsibilities

• Support the purpose and core values of Atlanta Athletic Club through daily actions and member-focused service.
• Communicate with Members regarding the status and arrival of special-order merchandise.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming merchandise daily, ensuring products are sales-floor ready in a timely manner.
• Prepare, package, and ship outgoing merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory management and control to maintain accurate merchandise records and stock levels.
• Enter purchase orders, merchandise receipts, and other inventory-related transactions into the inventory management system.
• Price, tag, and prepare merchandise for display and sale in accordance with Club standards.
• Process special-order requests by preparing order documentation and coordinating pricing with the Director of Retail.
• Process merchandise returns, including documentation, packaging, and shipment to manufacturers for credit.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure stockroom and storage area.
• Assist with monthly physical inventory counts and reconciliation activities as directed.
• Perform additional duties and special projects assigned by manager.
