Banner Health is seeking a Billing Specialist to coordinate patient billing and collection activities across denials, claims research, and accounts receivable. You will work to maximize reimbursement by reconciling balances and collaborating with payors and internal teams.

The role requires at least 1 year in patient financial services or medical claims, with experience handling appeals, EOBs, and coding knowledge.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year of patient financial services or medical claims experience.
• Experience submitting appeals and understanding EOBs.
• General knowledge of codes used for claim processing and solid computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and facilitate patient billing and collection activities in assigned areas such as denials, claims research, and accounts receivable
• Reconcile account balances, pursue payments, and work with payor remits, contracts, and internal policies to maximize reimbursement
• Research payments and denials, identify trends, and communicate with internal and external customers to resolve issues

Schedule and Location:

• Full time, Monday-Friday
• Remote position open to residents of specified US states only
• Training from 8am-5pm AZ time; flexible scheduling between 6am-6pm AZ time after training
