Job summary

The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee is seeking a part-time cafe team member to uphold its iconic legacy of gracious service and impeccable style.

You will stock glassware and service ware, set and clear tables, polish silverware, and keep surfaces tidy throughout shifts, while delivering memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to understand verbal English to comprehend guest requests.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. throughout a crowded room.
• Must adhere to Local 122 Collective Bargaining Agreement regulations, with the option to obtain union membership after 90 days of employment.

The Pfister Hotel has received AAA Four Diamond hotel status for over 50 consecutive years.

What you will be doing

• Maintain stock of glassware, silverware, and plates.

• Stock all service areas.

• Clear and set tables.

• Polish silverware and arrange in napkins, storing appropriately and at adequate supply.

• Ensure all surfaces are maintained throughout shift.
