Shift:

12-hour Rotating Shift

Summary:

The IGIV-C Technician is responsible for the isolation of IgG by processing plasma intermediate paste and performing fundamental tasks within a GMP environment, including cleaning and maintaining the workplace, assembling/disassembling equipment, assisting with process control, and maintaining records/logs.

TECH I Responsibilities:

• Performs general housekeeping in compliance with pharmaceutical standards.
• Prepares solutions and dispenses cleaning reagents.
• Safeguards facilities, equipment, product, and co-workers.
• Assembles/disassembles production equipment.
• Operates production equipment and fork truck safely.
• Operates CIP circuits.
• Monitors processes using DCS and maintains accurate documentation.
• Performs integrity tests on sterile filters.

Additional Responsibilities:

Includes buffer preparation, zone activities, sterile processing, and purification processing. Requires knowledge of GMP, safety protocols, and technical skills.

Requirements:

Basic math and computer skills, mechanical aptitude, detail-oriented, team player, good judgment.

Education:

High School Diploma required; Bioworks Certification preferred.

TECH II Responsibilities:

• Performs all TECH I duties and GMP/Safety audits.
• Operates and troubleshoots production equipment.

Additional Responsibilities:

Includes preparing buffers, sterile bulks, column processing, UF/DF processing, and equipment testing.

Occupational Demands:

Must lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk continuously, work rotating shifts, and be vaccinated for hepatitis B. Environment involves biological, chemical, electrical hazards, noise, dust, cold, confined spaces, heights. PPE required. Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, lifting, and communication skills.
