SHIFT: 12-hour Rotating Shift
The IGIV-C Technician is responsible for the isolation of IgG by processing plasma intermediate paste and performing fundamental tasks within a GMP environment, including cleaning and maintaining the workplace, assembling and disassembling operating equipment per applicable procedures, assisting with process control manipulations, and maintaining records/logs in accordance with current standard procedures.
Includes buffer prep activities, zone 1 activities, zone 2 sterile processing activities, zone 2 purification processing activities, and knowledge, skills, & abilities such as basic math, computer skills, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, teamwork, and good judgment.
Basic math skills, basic computer skills, mechanical aptitude, detail-oriented, with the ability to work in a team environment and exercise good judgment.
High School Diploma; Bioworks Certification preferred.
Includes buffer prep, zone 1, zone 2 sterile processing, column processing, UF/DF processing, and related testing and calibration tasks.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk continuously, work rotating shifts, and be vaccinated for hepatitis B. Work involves exposure to biological fluids, chemicals, machinery, noise, dust, extreme cold, confined spaces, heights, and requires PPE. Work is physically demanding, involving standing, walking, bending, lifting, and fine motor skills. Hearing and vision acuity are essential, along with good communication skills.
