12-hour Rotating Shift
The IGIV-C Technician is responsible for the isolation of IgG by processing plasma intermediate paste and performing fundamental tasks within a GMP environment, including cleaning and maintaining the workplace, assembling and disassembling operating equipment per applicable procedures, assisting with process control manipulations, and maintaining records/logs according to current standards.
Includes buffer prep, zone activities, sterile processing, and purification processing, involving tasks like preparing solutions, calibrating probes, testing filters, and assisting in process setups.
Basic math and computer skills, mechanical aptitude, detail orientation, teamwork, and good judgment.
High School Diploma; Bioworks Certification preferred.
Includes preparing buffer solutions, sterile bulks, column processing, and UF/DF processing, with tasks like testing, sterilizing, and calibrating equipment.

Must lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk continuously, work rotating shifts, and be vaccinated for hepatitis B. Work involves exposure to biological fluids, chemicals, machinery, noise, dust, extreme cold, and confined spaces. Personal protective equipment is required. Work involves standing, walking, bending, frequent sitting, and manual dexterity. Visual and auditory acuity are essential for safe and effective performance.
