CDM Smith is seeking a PFASs Forensics Discipline Leader to oversee, strengthen, and expand our PFASs technical services. You will apply advanced PFAS chemistry and forensic analytics to support clients domestically and internationally.

The role requires leadership in PFASs forensics, a track record of publications, and the ability to communicate complex science to diverse audiences, including regulators and clients.

Qualifications

• PhD in PFASs forensics.
• More than five years of experience with PFASs and forensic tools.
• Detailed understanding of PFAS chemistry, uses, fate and transport.
• History of commercial projects where PFASs forensic tools were applied.

Responsibilities

• Oversee PFASs forensic services and identify PFASs to support source allocation.
• Advance PFAS detection strategies using multiple analytical methods.
• Support technical sales, client engagement, and proposal development.
• Lead research and development in PFAS characterization and analytical methods.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to knowledge transfer.
• Develop marketing materials and position CDM Smith for client opportunities.
