Job summary

Global Partners LP in Pasadena, TX, seeks a Terminal Operator to support the safe receipt, storage, and shipment of petroleum products at the facility. You will follow strict safety and regulatory standards while coordinating with pipelines, railcars, and drivers to ensure accurate transactions and proper documentation.

The role requires climbing, gauges readings, and involvement in routine inspections and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma.
• Must possess a current, valid driver’s license.
• Operate a forklift.
• Must currently hold or be able to qualify to receive a TWIC card.
• Willing to work outside in inclement weather with or without accommodation.
• Willing to work in rotating shift work schedule and overtime.
• To attend to emergencies, reside within 60 minutes of the site, or relocate within 60 minutes of the site.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the safe movement, receipt, and shipment of product between pipelines, rail cars, tanker trucks, marine and storage tanks by following policies and procedures.
• Ensure product transactions are accurately measured, documented, and conducted per policies.
• Perform tank gauging and read gauges.
• Conduct quality assurance testing and document results.
• Assist in maintenance and calibration of metering devices, pumps, valves, and related equipment.
• Perform routine terminal inspections and stock balancing.
• Interact with government agencies and manage drivers for safe loading/unloading.
• Support minor terminal maintenance purchasing and housekeeping duties.
• Promote health, safety, security, and environmental activities at the facility.
