Job summary

Sunoco LP seeks a Terminal Operator to assist with receipt and shipment of petroleum products via pipeline and truck. The role includes maintenance, safety, and environmental responsibilities in the absence of the Terminal Manager. Rotating 8-hour shifts include nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent PC skills, with proficiency in Microsoft products.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to proof work for accuracy.
• Initiative and organizational abilities required for deadlines and priorities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Gauge storage tanks and take meter readings daily.
• Provide top-tier customer service to commercial and operations teams.
• Calculate and input inventories and meter readings into systems.
• Perform daily/monthly reconciliation of inventories and throughputs.
• Perform facility maintenance on office buildings and assets as needed.
• Load petroleum products onto trucks safely and receive products from pipelines.
• Travel to facilities across the organization with little notice.
• Take samples and perform quality control tests as required.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections.
• Inspect terminal equipment and report any faults to supervisor.
