Job summary

AmSpec Services is seeking a Lab Supervisor to oversee operations, supervising lab personnel and ensuring accurate testing data. You will coordinate assignments, document sample results, and train analysts, acting as a liaison between lab staff, the Lab Manager, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of management experience in petroleum.
• Alternative: Associate’s Degree with 5+ years in petroleum management.
• Strong managerial, interpersonal, and safety training knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule lab assignments for technicians and supervisors.
• Oversee all analytical testing work and data compilation.
• Document and maintain records for all customer samples.
• Analyze QC results to ensure testing efficiency.
• Train laboratory analysts and liaise with Lab Manager and Operations.
• Prepare corrective/preventive action reports for QA/QC.
