Job summary

AmSpec Services seeks a laboratory professional to perform sample testing for quantitative analysis, quality control, and process control. You will maintain instruments, review work orders, and prepare analytical reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; some college coursework preferred.
• Basic computer, math and science skills are essential.
• Ability to quickly grasp new procedures after training.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, consultants and management.
• Solid understanding of safety and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review and understand work orders for all samples.
• Perform analyses per customer and industry standards.
• Document test results neatly and accurately.
• Prepare corresponding analytical reports.
• Perform QA/QC testing and assist with control charts.
• Maintain laboratory instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Safety sensitive position with pre-employment and annual drug/alcohol testing.
