Petroleum Inspector at Bureau Veritas in Pasadena, TX conducts quantity surveys at client facilities such as barges, ships, shore tanks, railcars, and tank trucks for petroleum and petrochemical products. Samples are collected for laboratory analysis, with travel demanding frequent site visits.
Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, safety compliance, timely reporting, and on-site coordination with Operations Supervisors.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience
Travel: 50% - 70%
Oil and Petroleum Inspectors visit client facilities, including barges and ships, shore tanks, railcars, and tank trucks for quantity surveys of a variety of commodities including petroleum and petrochemicals inspection and collects samples for laboratory analysis.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.
