Job summary

Intertek Caleb Brett is seeking an Entry-Level Petroleum Inspector for our Romeoville, IL facility. The role involves measuring volumes and temperatures, sampling, and reporting results to provide independent quality assessments.

The position requires frequent travel (up to 75%) and a commitment to safety procedures. The role starts at $24.00 per hour and can go up to $30.00 per hour based on experience, with full benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Basic grasp of mathematics and ability to work in an automated environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and obtain a TWIC credential.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to Caleb Brett safety procedures.
• Perform volume, temperature measurements and sampling of commodities.
• Visual inspections on lines, pumps, tanks, rail cars, ships.
• Complete custody transfer surveys of commodities.
• Maintain records and submit reports in a timely manner.
