Job summary

Intertek Caleb Brett in Chickasaw, AL seeks a Level I Petroleum Inspector to inspect product and chemical cargoes. Travel required ~15%. Shift is 6 days on, 3 days off. Pension and comprehensive benefits accompany the role.

Minimum education is High School/GED. You must hold a valid driver's license, be able to climb tanks up to 70 ft, and obtain IFIA certification if not already certified. Position is on-site with Intertek Caleb Brett.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED required.
• Ability to travel (up to 15%).
• Valid driver’s license with reliable driving record.
• Ability to climb shore tanks up to 70 ft tall and lift ~50 lb.
• IFIA Certification or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on product and chemical barges.
• Perform inspections on product and chemical ships.
• Conduct inventories on shore tanks.
• Record complete and detailed time logs for all jobs.
