Job summary

Intertek is hiring a Petroleum Inspector to join the Chickasaw, AL team. The role involves inspecting product and chemical barges and ships, conducting shore tank inventories, and maintaining detailed time logs. Travel to client sites is required, with a 15% travel expectation.

The position supports Intertek Caleb Brett and offers a comprehensive benefits package. Candidates must have a High School Diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain IFIA certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Ability to travel
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record is required
• Ability to climb shore tanks up to 70ft tall and able to carry approximately 50 pounds, at a time.
• Ability to acquire and maintain an IFIA Certification, if not already certified

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on product and chemical barges
• Perform inspections on product and chemical ships
• Conduct inventories on shore tanks
• Record complete and detailed time logs for all jobs worked
