Job summary

Southern States Cooperative seeks a Petroleum Driver to operate commercial fuel delivery vehicles and install/maintain equipment at customer sites. You will load fuel, ensure accurate deliveries, and maintain records while complying with DOT regulations and SSC procedures.

Strong safety focus and customer communication are essential for reliable service. The role requires a CDL (Class B or A depending on location), HazMat endorsement, and potentially Tanker endorsement, with duties including

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Grade 426 Experience: 2+ years as Petroleum Driver or related. Familiarity with equipment installation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate SSC commercial motor vehicles delivering fuel products (heating oil, kerosene, diesel, gasoline).
• Load and unload fuel and equipment; calibrate equipment and maintain records.
• Provide safe, prompt delivery and communicate with customers and facility leadership.
• On-site installation and maintenance of fuel equipment for new customers as needed.
• Maintain daily logs, inventory records and comply with safety and regulatory standards.
