Job summary

Southern States Cooperative is seeking a Petroleum Driver to operate commercial motor vehicles and deliver heating oil, kerosene, diesel, and gasoline to customers. You will load and unload, install and service fuel equipment where required, and maintain accurate fuel logs per company procedures.

The role requires relevant CDL credentials, hazardous materials endorsement, and experience in petroleum delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires CDL with appropriate class (Class B or A) and endorsements.
• Hazardous Materials Endorsement or ability to obtain.
• Petroleum/Propane Certification or ability to obtain.
• Minimum two years experience as a Petroleum Driver.

Responsibilities

• Operate SSC commercial motor vehicles delivering fuel products per work orders.
• Load, unload, calibrate equipment, and maintain accurate records of fuel supply.
• Provide on-site installation and maintenance of fuel equipment as required.
• Maintain daily logs, perform preventive maintenance, and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate with customers professionally and comply with DOT regulations.
