Job summary

OWL Services is seeking a Petroleum Service Technician to join its nationwide field team. You will diagnose, repair, install, and maintain petroleum equipment at fueling sites, working independently in the field with backing from a large service network.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in mechanical/electrical/petroleum equipment, plus the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of mechanical, electrical, petroleum equipment experience or technical schooling.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors.
  • Driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

  • Perform petroleum equipment service, troubleshooting, repair, and installation in a professional, safe, and timely manner.
  • Diagnose and repair fuel dispensers, hanging hardware, point-of-sale equipment, and related systems.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and component replacement.
  • Install, repair, and replace dispenser hardware and equipment.
  • Complete service calls accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
  • Document work performed and complete job paperwork at the time of service.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and provide technical assistance and product support.
  • Build strong customer relationships by delivering dependable service and solutions.
  • Complete required training and maintain current certifications and equipment knowledge.
  • Learn and support additional systems and equipment at customer locations.
  • Manage multiple service calls and priorities in a fast-paced field environment.
  • Work independently while collaborating with dispatch, customers, technicians, and management.
  • Follow all company, customer, and safety procedures.
