Job summary

OWL Services is a nationwide provider of petroleum equipment service, installation, and maintenance. We seek a Petroleum Service Technician to diagnose, repair, install, and service fuel dispensers and related systems at customer sites.

You will work independently in the field with support from a large service network, completing tasks safely and efficiently while expanding your skills through provided training and certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of mechanical, electrical, computer, petroleum equipment, or related trade experience or technical schooling.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication with customers and team members.
• Detail-oriented with quality workmanship.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform petroleum equipment service, troubleshooting, repair, and installation in a professional, safe, and timely manner.
• Diagnose and repair fuel dispensers, hanging hardware, point-of-sale equipment, and related systems.
• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and component replacement.
• Install, repair, and replace dispenser hardware and equipment.
• Complete service calls accurately and efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards.
• Document work performed and complete job paperwork at the time of service.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide technical assistance and product support.
• Build strong customer relationships by delivering dependable service and solutions.
• Complete required training and maintain current certifications and equipment knowledge.
• Learn and support additional systems and equipment at customer locations.
• Manage multiple service calls and priorities in a fast-paced field environment.
• Work independently while collaborating with dispatch, customers, technicians, and management.
• Follow all company, customer, and safety procedures.
