Job summary

OWL Services is a nationwide petroleum equipment service provider seeking an experienced Petroleum Service Technician. You will diagnose, repair, install, and replace fuel dispensers and related systems in the field, working with customers directly to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The role requires hands‑on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple service calls in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience or technical schooling in mechanical, electrical, computer, petroleum equipment, or related trade.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Positive, professional attitude.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability and willingness to complete required training and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform petroleum equipment service, troubleshooting, repair, and installation in a professional, safe, and timely manner.
• Diagnose and repair fuel dispensers, hanging hardware, point‑of‑sale equipment, and related systems.
• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and component replacement.
• Install, repair, and replace dispenser hardware and equipment.
• Complete service calls accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
• Document work performed and complete job paperwork at the time of service.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide technical assistance and product support.
• Build strong customer relationships by delivering dependable service and solutions.
• Complete required training and maintain current certifications and equipment knowledge.
• Learn and support additional systems and equipment at customer locations.
• Manage multiple service calls and priorities in a fast‑paced field environment.
• Work independently while collaborating with dispatch, customers, technicians, and management.
• Follow all company, customer, and safety procedures.
