Job summary

SPATCO Energy Solutions is seeking an energetic Petroleum Construction Crew Leader in Jackson, MS. You will lead the construction crew in installing petroleum storage tanks, piping, dispensers, and pumping units, with responsibilities across concrete work, electrical, environmental cleanup, and disposal of old equipment.

The role emphasizes scheduling, safety, documentation, and cost control while coordinating subcontractors and material flow on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in the petroleum industry is a plus.
• 40hr OSHA training is a plus.
• Installer certifications in the industry are a plus.
• Equipment operation experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift 75–100 lbs when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate job duties and delegate tasks for smaller construction projects.
• Monitor and manage employee schedules and subcontractors and ensure proper skills and installation requirements.
• Enforce safe work practices and housekeeping at all times, including daily cleanup.
• Brief crew on daily tasks and direct workmen on assigned tasks.
• Track rental equipment, materials, labor, and subcontractor costs to maintain budgets.
• Verify progress tasks against codes, specs, and manufacturer requirements.
• Document daily activities, materials used, testing and inspections.
