Barrett Petfood in Little Falls, Minnesota is seeking a Full-Time Packaging Supervisor to lead a dynamic team in onsite packaging operations. You will promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement while delivering exceptional product outcomes for pets and their owners.

Your role will involve overseeing daily packaging activities, driving efficiency, and collaborating with other departments to meet production goals and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Check machine centerlines to confirm machines are operating at their best and producing high quality products consistently
• Ensure machine rates are maintained throughout department
• Balance line inventory after a packaging job is complete to make sure they are correct in Barrett's ERP system, Plex
• True-up any product over 2,000lb, in Plex, that was not physically consumed
• Help with decisions on scheduling and priorities for packaging lines
• Organize daily staffing of packaging lines
• Schedule & organize packaging team during dry cleans, wet cleans, and down time
• Pet food rework scheduling & staffing
• Verify labels and lot codes on products
• Support packaging leads with decision making
• Hold packaging team accountable to performance and quality expectations
• Coach, reward, and recognize packaging team
• Assigned other duties as needed
