Job summary

Ohio Peterbilt (a division of Ohio Machinery Co.) in Findlay, Ohio, is seeking a diesel/truck technician. You will diagnose failures, perform repairs to dealer and factory standards, and work with the Service Supervisor and Service Writer/Advisor.

Mentoring teammates and upholding safety are core parts of the role. Requires a vocational diploma in diesel/truck repair, strong computer skills, and a valid CDL (Class A or B preferred).

Qualifications

• Vocational diploma or degree in diesel or truck repair required.
• Strong computer skills required.
• Class A or B CDL preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures and recommend repair procedures.
• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Take direction from Service Supervisor and Service Writer/Advisor.
• Mentor less-skilled technicians.
• Comply with EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
