Job summary

Overlake Hospital Medical Center is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to perform diagnostic PET/CT exams and collaborate with the Medical Imaging leadership to develop operating policies. The role covers other molecular imaging modalities as needed and serves as a departmental resource.

The position is per diem with variable shifts, primarily weekends, and requires ARRT(N) or NMTCB, CT registration, state radiologic technologist certification, CPR, and two years nuclear medicine experience; PET

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate’s degree through an accredited Nuclear Medicine program or completion of formal military or hospital-based Nuclear Medicine program required.
• BA or BS degree preferred.
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB required; ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT) registration required.
• State Certification as Radiologic Technologist required; biannual license renewal.
• CPR required upon hire; two years nuclear medicine experience required.

A PET/CT Technologist works with the Medical Imaging leadership and medical director to develop operating policies and procedures.

Performs diagnostic PET/CT exams within these established guidelines.

Also covers other modalities within molecular imaging as needed (Rb-82 cardiac, oncology, brain PETCT).

Serves as a role model and resource within the department.

Per Diem / Variable Shifts mainly covering weekends

Qualifications:

• BA or BS degree preferred.
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB required.
• Annual renewal of ARRT or NMTCB required by Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification.
• ARRT(CT) or NMTCB (CT) registration required.
• State Certification as Radiologic Technologist required.
• Biannual renewal of RT state license required by DOH and Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification.
• Healthcare Level CPR required upon hire.
• Two years nuclear medicine experience required.
• PET experience preferred.
