Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures, prepare radiopharmaceuticals with safety and accuracy, and deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging with an excellent patient experience.

This role requires a diploma from NMTCB or ARRT(R)-approved programs, ARRT(N) or CNMT certification, CT certification, NYS license, and radiography program graduation; academic hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Diploma from NMTCB or ARRT(R)-approved radiologic technology program.
  • ARRT(N) or CNMT certification required.
  • CT certification required.
  • NYS license required.
  • Graduate of an approved radiography program.
  • Academic hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures in alignment with physician orders and clinical protocols.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals with a strong focus on safety and accuracy.
  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
  • Monitor and support patients throughout procedures, providing clear education and reassurance.
  • Maintain equipment, documentation, and compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

Be part of a world-class team at the forefront of cancer care, delivering advanced imaging that directly supports groundbreaking diagnosis and treatment.

Role Overview:

Additional Information:
  • Location: Schwartz Building, 1250 First Avenue, New York, NY
  • Schedule: 8am-6pm Monday-Friday, possible 3 day workweek transition. When on a 3 day work week, must work one weekend a month.
  • Reports to: Supervisor, Diagnostic Radiology
