Job summary

Hmixray is looking for a PET Technologist Aide in Annapolis, MD to support patient intake, scheduling, and front-line coordination in a radiology setting.

You will greet patients, verify information, obtain insurance details, and assist technologists while maintaining high standards of safety and privacy. This role requires professionalism, clear communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 2 years of medical back office experience strongly preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Medical terminology knowledge and recent radiology office work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register patients, collect copays, verify information and inform arrival of patients.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and patient information; collect signatures and ensure documentation.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments and notify staff of changes.
• Sterilize equipment in each department before patient exams.
• Assist radiology technologists with patients and maintain patient safety.
• Protect patient data and property in accordance with policy.
