Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Pet Stylist to provide expert grooming services for dogs, including baths, brushing, trims, and styling, while prioritizing safety and the comfort of every pet.

In this role you will engage with pet parents, maintain a clean, organized grooming salon, and support the team with training and guidance as needed; weekend, evening, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco, or equivalent professional grooming experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high grooming standards.
• Excellent communication with pet parents and team.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircutting, and styling.
• Operate grooming tools and maintain equipment.
• Prioritize animal safety and well-being; report concerns to management.
• Educate pet parents on grooming maintenance and at-home care.
• Train or supervise entry-level trainees when needed.
