Qualifications

• Completion of Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco or equivalent grooming training.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to judge coat type, skin conditions and temperament while grooming.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services: bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling.
• Maintain safe, clean grooming area and sanitize tools.
• Interact professionally with pet parents and offer grooming recommendations.
• Train or supervise trainees when needed.
• Meet Petco grooming standards and policies.
