Job summary

Mud Bay Inc. in Shoreline, WA is seeking a full-time Store Staff member who helps customers and animals with friendly, informed service. You will engage with dog and cat owners, support sales and pet health education, and handle transactions at the register.

You will contribute to a helpful team, maintain store cleanliness, and participate in shift schedules including weekends, with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Comfort with basic math and computer usage.

Responsibilities

• Provide a happy, educational, and fun experience for all visitors.
• Engage dog and cat owners in conversation and offer solutions.
• Contribute to sales growth with holistic pet care advice.
• Perform POS duties and manage registers accurately.
• Open and close the store and tills as needed.
• Keep store areas clean, organized, and presentable.
• Assist with inventory, receiving, restocking, and facing.
• Support team learning and open communication.
• Work varied shifts including weekends.
