Hollywood Feed in Austin, TX is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Bark 'n Purr at 4604 Burnet Rd. You’ll partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, elevate customer satisfaction, and lead a team through daily operations and feedback.

This position requires strong communication, team leadership, and a commitment to pets. The role includes opening/closing, training, and ensuring safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Proven sales and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of store products or ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to operate or learn the point-of-sale system.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years’ driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee team members and communicate with customers under Store Manager guidance.
• Manage daily tasks and performance evaluations.
• Close the store 3 nights per week.
• Attend Assistant Store Manager meetings in person.
• Safely operate company vehicle for deliveries as needed.
• Support Store Manager in employment-related matters in line with policies.
• Perform inventory and POS-related duties to ensure accuracy.
