Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year previous retail management and keyholder experience required.
• Experience in pet retail is a plus.
• Dependable and reliable with strong attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to travel among neighboring stores.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and sell using the Pet Food Express Whole Life Approach.
• Provide coaching and development to Store Associates with timely feedback.
• Lead daily training and ongoing product knowledge initiatives.
• Stay updated on products, trends, and store brand messaging.
• Maintain store open/close procedures and cash handling accuracy.
• Ensure a clean, customer-ready store and uphold safety and loss-prevention standards.
