Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency is recruiting a skilled PET Scan / Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a part-time position in Lewes, Delaware. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures with radiopharmaceuticals while ensuring high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include preparing and administering imaging agents, collaborating with medical staff, and monitoring radiation safety standards. Candidates should have at least one year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred and possess strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Qualifications

• One year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
• Ability to complete Point of Care Testing training during department orientation.
• Ability to lift and assist patients up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals.
• Prepare, calibrate, document, and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
• Evaluate recorded images for technical quality.
• Respond to emergency situations and administer first aid or CPR as needed.
