Job summary

A regional health network is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide on-site technical assistance in nuclear medicine. Responsibilities include administering radioactive materials for imaging, preparing examinations, and instructing students. The ideal candidate should have SPECT imaging experience and be a graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology school. Qualifications

• Must possess Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT-N certification within six months of hire.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent required within three months.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance in nuclear medicine by calculating and administering radioactive materials.
• Assist in preparation for examination and obtain blood samples.
• Instruct students and assist in development of diagnostic procedures.
