Job summary

IPP - Independent Pet Partners is seeking an Associate District Manager in the Minneapolis area to lead eight to fifteen stores and supervise Store Managers and teams. You will drive sales, profitability, and operational excellence while upholding brand standards and delivering superior customer experiences.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, staff development, and regular coaching of store leaders to strengthen performance and engagement across the district.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in multi-unit and store management within the retail industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience required.
• Knowledge of and familiarity with the natural pet retail industry is preferred.
• Ability to identify, motivate, and retain top talent to drive team success.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of eight to fifteen stores, supervising Store Managers and store teams.
• Drive sales, profitability, operational execution, and talent development across stores.
• Coach and develop store leaders; visit stores regularly to assess performance and opportunities.
• Ensure brand standards and customer experience are consistently delivered across stores.
• Collaborate with District Manager and HR on recruiting and performance management.
