Maui Humane Society is seeking a Pet Resources Specialist to be the primary point of contact for walk-ins, support shelter inquiries, and provide community services with compassionate customer care. You will lead difficult conversations daily while maintaining a respectful, non-judgmental approach.

The role includes data entry, animal intake coordination, and high-volume scheduling, with training and ongoing support. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and working with the public.
• High comfort in interacting with animals.
• Ability to use shelter software and multiple computer programs.

Responsabilités

• Provide a positive community experience in all transactions.
• Process data and payments in shelter software.
• Intake animals being surrendered, including euthanasia.
• Document animal behavior and transport animals throughout the shelter.
• Schedule high-volume surgery intake.
• Prepare animals for cremation.
