Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts is seeking an Assistant General Manager for the Spring Klein resort in Spring, Texas. You will partner with the General Manager to run day-to-day operations, develop the team, and deliver outstanding care for pets and their people.

You will lead a team, drive revenue and cost management, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment with strong customer service. The role offers a full-time, on-site schedule. Compensation ranges are posted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years customer service experience (leadership experience is a plus).
• Strong communication skills and comfort leading teams in a hands-on environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
• Availability to work up to 45 to 50 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations with the General Manager as a partner.
• Coach and develop Shift Leads and Team Members to build capability and confidence.
• Maintain operational excellence across pet care, facility standards, cleanliness, and safety.
• Oversee staffing and scheduling within labor guidelines.
• Resolve customer concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Manage daily audits, checklists, and end-of-shift reporting.
