Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts is seeking a Pet Pro Lead to supervise daily pet care operations, coach team members, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and documentation are consistently upheld. This is a hands-on leadership role working alongside the team.

The Pet Pro Lead reports to Resort and General Managers and oversees daycare playgroups, boarding areas, and overall animal care operations with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in animal handling and group dog supervision.
• Proven ability to lead and coach a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coach Pet Pros and onboard new staff.
• Monitor playgroups and boarding safety; enforce protocols.
• Ensure medication, feeding, sanitation, and health reporting are followed.
• Maintain a calm, professional environment and hold staff accountable.
• Oversee documentation and charting for pet care activities.
