Job summary

Tractor Supply Company seeks a Flex Pharmacy Technician to support prescription verification and fulfillment, ensuring orders are accurate, complete, and compliant for timely dispensing and shipment.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, resolving discrepancies, and coordinating with pharmacists, veterinarians, and customer service to deliver safe veterinary-related pharmacy services. The role requires 1+ year experience and a state-registered tech license where applicable.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of pharmacy technician experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician license as required by the applicable state of operation.

Responsibilities

• Verify prescription details (patient, medication, dosage, quantity, refills, directions) and verify veterinarian authorization.
• Manage inbound client and veterinary clinic calls; provide accurate prescription support and document interactions.
• Review orders for accuracy and compliance before processing.
• Resolve prescription discrepancies by coordinating with pharmacists, veterinarians, customer service, and customers as needed.
• Prepare and package prescriptions for shipment; stage orders for delivery.
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and safety procedures in the pharmacy.
